The SIL-10G-DATAC-0.5-C is a 10G Direct Attach Cable that is 0.5m in length. 10G Direct Attach Cables (DAC) are fast becoming the most popular way of establishing interconnects in a data centre. The SilverNet DAC’s offer data rates of up to 10.5Gbps and are backward compatible to 1Gbps.
The ease and convenience of a single piece cable assembly that can be hot-plugged into standard SFP+ ports to create 10G connections between devices is invaluable to many network operators.
